Bullying is a worldwide issue among students and adults. In each generation, the amount of students being bullied have increased and it impact everyone greatly. According to the article, A Profile of Bullying At School, written by Dan Olweus, he states, "passive and submissive victims represent 80-85 percent of all victims of bullying" (12). Students who are bullied are most likely the ones who can't defend themselves. Students, who bully, often come from abusive homes, while victims of bullying are those who look weak or would not stand up for themselves. There are bullies in school because students want to be able to feel the power and control they have over their own peers and classmates.
